Forum Central is pleased to welcome Karen Pearse to our team. Karen has taken on the role of PSI-Volition Director and started with us in July.
Hi there, I’m Karen Pearse and am the new PSI-Volition Director here at Forum Central. I’ve been working in the third sector in Leeds for around 15 years in both small and larger organisations including Multiple Choice, East Leeds Health For All, St Anne’s Community Services and Leeds Mind. My background is in substance use and mental health. I held a citywide strategic role managing the Dual Diagnosis Project for nearly eight years and more recently set up the Converge programme working with four higher education institutions in Leeds.
I am really excited to be a part of Forum Central. The upcoming re-commissioning of our contract is a great opportunity to review the amazing work that has been achieved for the past two years and give us some time to refocus and think about our priorities going forward. There are so many exciting developments and it’s such an important time for us to use our influence and ensure the whole of the third sector, both large and small organisations, is fully involved in planning, commissioning and delivering health and social care services in Leeds.
I’m looking forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming events and if you have any questions or any ideas that you’d like to share, please do get in touch.
To get in touch email firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office on 0113 2421321
Karen is a great addition to the Forum Central team – welcome!
