Time to Talk – a free counselling for people affected by long term health conditions and their carers via Webcam

Coping with poor health, whether it’s physical or mental, can be difficult for those who are ill as well as for their family or friends. Being ill for a long time can cause arguments and stress between family members or close friends, as people try to cope with the effects of an illness.

Talking about the problems can and does help, and Relate Mid Yorkshire is offering up to 6 sessions of free counselling to individuals, couples or families to help them talk about the problems and find a better way forward for the future.

This service is being offered via webcam, and any device that connects to the internet such as a smart phone, a tablet or computer can be used. It’s safe and secure, and someone can have counselling from the comfort of their own home

At the moment this service is only for people living in north Leeds but hopefully after April 2018 it will be there for anyone living anywhere in the city.
