MindWell, the mental health website for people in Leeds, is delighted to have won a national Plain English Award. The awards are given to individuals, organisations and websites which champion ‘clarity, accessibility and commitment to clear, useful information’.
MindWell provides quick and easy access to up-to-date mental health information, including self-help resources, for all adults in Leeds, including GPS and other professionals. Hundreds of people across the city were involved in its development to help create a site that is clear, simple-to-use, avoids jargon and is written in everyday English.
