MindWell, the mental health website for people in Leeds, is recruiting an Engagement and Outreach Officer to increase awareness of the website across the city and help to further embed its usage in Leeds health and wellbeing activities.

This newly created role is a unique opportunity to lead engagement activities for an innovative, award-winning NHS digital project.

Responsible to: Content and Communications Manager

Hours: 21 hours per week

Salary: SP23 – £26,999 (pro rata)

Holidays: 28 days (plus bank holidays) pro rata

Employing body: PSI-Volition (the physical and sensory impairment and mental health forum, part of Forum Central)

Contract: 12 months, fixed-term.

Pension: 6% company scheme or contribution to private pension scheme

Funded locally by NHS Leeds Commissioning Group, MindWell brings together information from the NHS in Leeds, Leeds City Council and the third sector into one single ‘go to’ place. It provides an open information resource which can be used by all adults in Leeds, including GPs, practitioners, employers and other professionals.

You will be based in a friendly team at Forum Central, a network of health and care third sector organisations in Leeds, but will work collaboratively with the product owners mHabitat and with people and groups across the city’s health and social care network.

Salaries are linked to NJC pay scales where salaries are negotiated with unions annually and PSI-Volition offers generous holidays and pension contributions.
