We’re pleased to let you know that Forum Central has joined the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Excellence Centre (WYHEC).
WYHEC works with partner organisations across Health and Care to identify key areas where they can collaborate to provide cross sector training to staff.
Their intention is to ensure high quality training provision and development opportunities are available and accessible to the health and care support staff workforce across the localities within the West Yorkshire and Harrogate region.
Using funding from the Local Workforce Action Board (LWAB), the WYHEC have developed and commissioned a wide ranging training offer that includes everything from Communication Skills, Health & Wellbeing, Managing Difficult Behaviours, Dementia Awareness, and fully accredited Food Safety Training which members can access across the region.
Courses are free for network members – including all Forum Central member organisations.
In addition the WYHEC aim to bring members together at an annual conference and through a series of CPD events to see where organisations can work collaboratively, share best practice and deliver reciprocated training on behalf of each other.
