Salary: Band 5 £24,214 – £30,112 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 22 hours per week

Length of Contract: Permanent

Are you an outstanding individual, who is high-performing and passionate about the provision of exceptional mental health services?

Community Links are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has successfully completed a post graduate qualification in primary care mental health/low intensity interventions or equivalent core professional qualification) to join their IAPT service as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.

Good people skills are a must as you will be the first clinician our patients come into contact with, your well-developed communication skills will be vital for engaging people in treatment. You will be able to identify common mental disorders and collaboratively formulate a plan with your patient in line with a defined pathway.

Most importantly you will be dedicated to going the extra mile to ensure our services are making people’s lives better by providing high quality and innovative services to people with mental health and additional needs.

In order to meet the needs of clients you will be required to work three Saturday mornings out of four.

Job Title: Early Intervention in Psychosis Practitioners

Salary: Band 5 £24,214 – £30,112 per annum (Ref: NHS65) | Band 6 £30,401 – £37,267 per annum (Ref:NHS66)

Hours: 37  per week

Length of Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 22 September 2019

Interview date: 16 October

Community Links are seeking creative and energetic individuals to join us as Early Intervention in Psychosis Practitioners at Band 5 and Band 6 grade at aspire!

As an Early Intervention in Psychosis Practitioner you will have significant experience of working in mental health and/or a relevant professional qualification to degree or post-graduate level, with the right approach, knowledge and skills to make a difference to the lives of the people they support.

Your role will be to work alongside colleagues to help us deliver their community-based ‘aspire’ service by providing support and early interventions to people experiencing First Episode Psychosis.

As an Early Intervention in Psychosis Practitioner you’ll be keen, inspiring, open minded and most importantly you will be yourself. A Band 6 Practitioner will have the skills and abilities to also support and supervise junior members of the team.

This vacancy will require work to be undertaken outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends.

He enjoys the wide variety of his role which covers things like designing reports and documents, organising meetings, putting together ebulletins, writing blogs, updating the LOPF website and social media and making sure that the office never runs out of milk. He has worked in the third sector since 2001 first with Volition and then LOPF and is the longest serving member of the Forum Central team. Previous to this Sean had mainly worked in horticulture and also had a spell managing a newsagent shop.
