Bee Friends group launches for older people with learning disabilities

/, Older People/Bee Friends group launches for older people with learning disabilities

Have you heard of Bee Together? It’s a project funded by the Time to Shine Project, aimed at Older People with Learning Disabilities (OPLD).

Bee Together aims to connect with socially isolated and lonely OPLD and find out their stories, the difficulties they have and their needs. They’ll then signpost people to organisations who can help them lead more fulfilling lives.

Health for All run Bee Together, and they have launched Bee Friends, a weekly drop-in for people from all over Leeds.
